The Mid City Neighborhood Organization has received a "Kodak American Greenways Award" of $1000 to be used for construction of the Jefferson Davis to Carrollton segment of the Lafitte Greenway. The award was made in response to a grant application written by Cheryl Frankfater, Janet Ward Pease and Daniel Samuels.
